7. Peri & Amy
In all honesty, there's no rhyme or reason behind this pairing. It's still easy to imagine the sparks flying between these two, though! Both companions received complaints early on for various reasons but went on to garner a degree of fan appreciation. Both Amy and Peri seem to share a love of short skirts and time travel and it's easy to imagine the frisson that would be seen if these two were to ever meet on screen. The pair would either make good friends or fast enemies... Or, in fact, frenemies. Who knows?! It's also a possibility that Peri would become newly emboldened by seeing how argumentative Amy can be with the Doctor. Depending on where Peri was in her timeline, she could always go back and give the Sixth Doctor what for!
