10 Doctor Who Villains Who Should Return For Russell T Davies' New Series 14

The best Doctor Who villains are the ones who can go head-to-head with the Time Lord intellectually. No villain is more suited to this than the aptly named, Great Intelligence.

After debuting in the Abominable Snowmen serial, The Great Intelligence has made some appearances in New Who being played by Ian McKellen and Richard E Grant. While both actors were wonderful in the role, the character himself often got short changed, specifically in The Name Of The Doctor.

The last we saw of The Great Intelligence he was dissolved into The Doctor's timestream, but as every horror movie tells us... if you don't see a body, they're not dead. There's a strong chance that The Great Intelligence could simply be gathering his forces to strike out at The Doctor again.

Russell T Davies always did the main villains of each series justice. The Daleks, The Cybermen, The Master all had unique arcs and plots. He could do the same for The Great Intelligence by making him the prime antagonist for Series 14.
