9. Zoidberg Let It Ride In Mars Vegas

In spite of having a consistent job as a doctor working for the Professor for many years, Zoidberg was forever poor. He lived in a dumpster, ate out of the same dumpster, and altogether had a very tough life.

When he received a $300 tax rebate along with the rest of the country, he realised that money couldn’t make him happy. He paid for a feast for anyone who wanted it, rich or poor, and when he was gifted $8 million that he thought was a gift from the heavens, he led with a similar sentiment.

He was happy enough being poor, and so the first thing he did with his newfound riches was follow the crew to Mars Vegas and bet the entire thing on 34. Incredibly, he won, and had turned that $8 million into $288 million. With this, he could have never worried about money again, paid off the robot mafia when they eventually came looking for their money, and had more than enough left over to feed a lot of hungry people.

Instead, he once again bet on 34, and miraculously won $10.368 billion. This was an unthinkable amount of money that once again he bet on the same number. Of course, lightning didn’t strike three times and he lost it all. For one moment he made everyone on Mars happy, but with that money he could have likely fed everyone in the entire galaxy.
