10 Dumbest Decisions Made By Game Of Thrones Characters
8. Bran Revealing His Location To The Night King
After Bran Stark travels beyond the Wall with the Reeds, Hodor and his direwolf Summer, he finds refuge with the Three-Eyed Raven and the last of the Children of the Forest. The Three-Eyed Raven promises to teach Bran how to use his various abilities so that he can one day become him.
All seems to be going well for a time, Bran becomes slowly stronger and stronger under his mentor's tutelage. Unfortunately, Bran's impatience with his progress and rebellious streak causes him to use his powers without the Three-Eyed Raven present. He locates The Night King and his army, but is shocked when the leader of the White Walkers can also see him as well.
The Night King touches Bran, which brands him and reveals the location of the Three-Eyed Raven's lair.
The leads to the subsequent deaths of the Children of the Forest, the Three-Eyed Raven, Summer and Hodor, all because Bran wouldn't take his training slowly like he was supposed to.
As Meera adequately put it, Bran dies in that cave as well, as he is forced to absorb all the Three-Eyed Raven's knowledge at an accelerated pace, leaving Bran an emotionless husk of his former self.
