10 Dumbest Villain Plans In TV Shows

1. Blowing Up All Of Reality - The Daleks (Doctor Who)

The fourth season of the revived Doctor Who really ramped up the stakes when it came to its two part finale The Stolen Earth/Journey's End.

In a story that pulled together as many of the Doctor's former companions that were available, Davros and his Dalek fleet kidnapped the Earth with the intention of using it and 26 other planets to power their Reality Bomb.

Yep, that's a right. A bomb that would destroy reality. Like, everything. Everything except the Daleks. That was their plan. This is a bad plan.

The in-show reasoning behind this strategy is that Daleks believe anything different from them is wrong. They want to essentially shake the Etch-a-Sketch that is the Universe and start again in their own image.

Except, how are they going to do that? What are they going to build stuff with? What are they going to sustain themselves on? What are they going to do?

This reeks of "We haven't thought this through." Whilst you have to admire the technical ability needed to construct such a weapon, the Daleks' sense of forethought was clearly not up to the same level.
