10 Dumbest Ways Supposedly Badass TV Characters Died

Some characters seem so invincible they can only be killed by something so random and unexpected that not even the audience see it coming.

Omar was the survivor in The Wire's cut-throat world of petty crime. A man with morals, but unafraid to use violence to get what he needed, but only through meticulous planning and preparation. But as his story was reaching what many thought would be an explosive conclusion - he is gunned down out of nowhere.

Watching a petty teenage drug dealer take Omar down when his back is turned was incredibly frustrating. Even though there are lines that can be drawn between Omar's cycle of violence and the twisted character Kenard became growing up in the same environment - Omar's death at the child's hands still doesn't amount to much at all.

Some might argue that this was the only fitting way he could have exited the show, but Omar dies almost completely unmourned and unacknowledged. There is no satisfaction to be had from his death or the immediate aftermath.

Any badass that manages to survive as long as Omar did needed a better ending than being shot in the head by a child.
