10 Embarrassingly Shoddy Doctor Who Monsters

7. The Garm in 'Terminus'

Now the Garm is a very unfortunate case, looking like zombie Winnie the Pooh. It speaks for itself really. It€™s odd in that it almost doesn€™t look as bad when it€™s moving and in context, because of the role it actually plays. He actually turns out to be quite friendly and misunderstood. However, if you look at any still image of it, it looks absolutely dire. What am I saying, it's absolutely dire full stop. It€™s a great, big, woolly, dog, goat thing that looks a bit like Chewbacca with alopecia, wearing a battledress seemingly made out of the wrappers of spreadable cheese triangles. He plods around looking so sorry for himself. If anything the Garm seems just a little bit too sedate and cuddly, or at least as cuddly as a walking, talking, moth eaten, stuffed bear can be. But at the same time you kind of get the feeling that he my also be planning to steal your soul. If anything the Garm should get the award for most threatening moustache in Doctor Who. Sorry Brigadier.
