10 Epic TV Moments Ruined By Awful Execution

3. Habib Marwan's Death - 24

Game of Thrones Daenerys
Fox

Habib Marwan (Arnold Vosloo) was one of 24's all-time best villains, the impossibly devious terrorist who antagonised Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) throughout the show's fourth season with his seemingly endless array of evil plots.

Fans were itching to see the manner in which Jack would brutally dispose of him, and so were left massively underwhelmed when he ultimately killed himself by cutting Jack's hand as Jack desperately tried to stop him from jumping off a parking structure.

Marwan falling to his death is absolutely fine, and it even gives Marwan the last laugh over Jack in a way, but the bargain basement green screen CGI employed for the sequence looked awful back in 2005, and obviously looks no better today.

It's just so hilariously obvious that actor Arnold Vosloo is falling onto a crash mat in a warehouse somewhere rather than on set with Sutherland, and even the basic physics of Marwan's falling movement doesn't make sense.

What should've been a brutal and dramatic moment in the season four finale instead invited nothing but guffaws and groans.
