10 Episodes That Prove 30 Rock Is The Greatest Sitcom Ever Made

7. Dance Like Nobody's Watching (Season 6, Episode 1)

Jenna Maroney judging a talent show, Liz sneaking around behind everybody's back and Kenneth's convinced the Rapture is coming. In short, a classic 30 Rock episode. This is probably the most heartwarming episode of the entire run, short of the finale, as everything that happens in this episode is as a result of someone caring about a friend or their relationships. Liz's uncharacteristically good mood makes Jack and Tracy think that something is definitely going on, with Tracy offering the helpful suggestion that she's a crack-whore, going to a crack-whore convention. The best part of this episode, however, is not Liz being a member of a dance troupe or finally being in a stable relationship, but the B-Plot involving the writers helping Kenneth live what he thinks is his last day to the very best. They take him to the beach, as he's never even seen the ocean, and it's a genuinely heartwarming moment between some underused characters and one of our favourites, and it really shows there is a relationship we don't often see on the show. There's plenty of comedy, featuring our favourite recurring guest star John McEnroe as well as D'Fwan from Queen of Jordan. The American Idol parody, America's Kidz Got Singing, is genuinely hilarious, and Jenna's verbal abuse of the children ("Go jump back up your mother!") is cringe comedy at its best. Joke Of The Episode:Jenna: "Because of 'America's Kidz Got Singing' I am blowing up. When you google 'Jenna Maroney' now, I come up first, not the Jenna Maroney who electrocuted all those horses!" Liz: "Jenna, that was you."
