10 Exact Moments Fans Turned On Their Favourite TV Characters
7. Franky Meets Luke - Skins
She might have been a blatant attempt at ripping off the Effy Stoneman crave the first four seasons of Skins had created, but there was still lot to enjoy about Franky Fitzgerald that had helped make her one of the more standout characters generation three produced. Essentially the main face of the final two seasons of the show, her journey from the "androgynous and super-intelligent" girl who acts "strange" to the far more headstrong and feminine person that fills the show's final season probably had more potential as an arc than any other in generation three.
Despite the fact that she is constantly shown as being torn between either Matty or his brother Nick throughout generation three, Franky finds herself being drawn to a mysterious bad boy named Luke at the start of season six.
Deciding to party and essentially run off with this total stranger rather than return to Matty, her boyfriend at the time, Franky's decision would end up causing a rift in the group that would never really heal and lead to the car crash that killed off her friend, Grace.
Grace was probably the most wholesome and likeable character in the show, and her relationship with Rich was one of the most heartwarming stories Skins fans had enjoyed. So, there really was no way back for the likes of Franky once she had played such a pivotal role in the events that had led to both of these things being stolen from them.
