3. Rachel Freaks Out At The Ross Dummy
In season seven's "The One With the Truth About London," Rachel ends up babysitting Ross' son Ben (Cole Sprouse), and in attempt to be known as "Fun Aunt Rachel," decides to teach him a series of pranks.
Ross isn't too thrilled about all this, and at the end of the episode feigns angrily chasing Ben out of the apartment while a concerned Rachel follows along.
As she enters the hallway, Ross throws a dummy of himself down the stairs, causing Rachel to freak out as she believes Ross has had a nasty spill on the stairs. Ross and Ben then emerge, laughing at a clearly irritated Rachel.
Rachel's freaked-out reaction seems so genuine because it was - David Schwimmer directed the episode and arranged the prank himself, to the extent of leaving this comedic beat out of the episode's table read.
The dummy prank was set up entirely without Aniston's knowledge, such that when it flew down the stairs she really thought her co-star had suffered an horrific fall.
Legend states she even screamed "Oh my God, David!," which had to be concealed by the audience's laughter in post-production.
