10 Funniest South Park Characters Ever

7. Harrison Yates

Mr. Mackey
Comedy Central

Originally, this spot would've been reserved for Officer Barbrady, but since time - and the show's producers - have forgotten about the illiterate, illegitimate but vastly good-natured cop, his modern counterpart in the form of Harrison Yates, the not-so subdued law enforcer that has caused more crimes than he's solved in the series.

When he isn't basking in the luxurious, serene virtual fields of Red Dead Redemption 2, you can place a pretty safe bet on Yates being in the field like a hard-working law enforcer should. However, his method of authority leaves more people served, rather than served and protected. His brash personality leads him to injure, if not outright murder, black civilians, in one of the show's most brutal examples of social commentary, misconstrue an amalgamation of crimes in a fashion so arbitrary that you'd think he was a double agent, but the crowning achievement has to be his rambunctious personality.

In some of his best policing moments - from sleeping with multiple males at once to dissect a prostitution ring, hiring a group of minors to engage with incredibly dangerous crystal meth dealers and even mistaking a gang of left hands for right hands - you know, despite the fact there's still a multitude of murders taking place, just makes him a character you want to see every week.

For better or for worse, but most likely worse.
