It's only fair that the genius behind the entire Game Of Thrones world, George R.R. Martin, gets a chance to be in it. He was rumoured to be featuring in Season 3, then Season 4, though neither saw a cameo, although Martin did play a role in the unaired original pilot. He spoke to Wired about what part he would like to play in Westeros, after his first part saw him as a guest at Daenerys' wedding, saying: €œI hope my character is sitting down, let me say that. I was standing there freezing and my back was killing me by the end of the evening. And I said, if I ever do another cameo, I€™m going to have a nice comfortable seat.
