10 Game Of Thrones Episodes That PISSED People Off
3. The Last Of The Starks (S8E4)
After the utter disappointment that was the Battle of Winterfell, the fourth episode of season eight did little to improve matters. It continued the trend of problematic and lazy writing, inconsistent stories that ignored both what came before and what would come after, and one of the most infamous blunders in TV history.
Nothing about this episode was great, but there were a handful of things that pissed fans off more than others. Bran telling Tyrion he can't be a Lord of anything, when just two episodes later he would be crowned King made absolutely no sense, and that's not even the worst of it.
Euron's attack on Daenerys on the Blackwater was completely nonsensical. The dragonrider would have seen a full on fleet below her before being struck, and though the specialist weapons were perfectly accurate here, during the actual battle they would have made a stormtrooper look as accurate as Hawkeye. Then there was the decision to spit all over Jaime Lannister's years of working towards some sort of redemption by having him cruelly leave Brienne for Cersei.
The worst thing however, was the infamous coffee cup that somehow made it into the scene in front of Daenerys at the celebration feast. Could there ever be a better symbolism of how much the final season of Game of Thrones was phoned in than the fact that no one either noticed or cared about this?
