7. Jon & Howland Reed
A reunion 22 years in the making. We have not yet met modern day Howland Reed - father of Meera and Jojen. We have only seen him in Bran’s flashbacks of the Tower of Joy.
But Howland has met Jon - on the day that Ned Stark promised to bring the child of Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar Targaryen back to Winterfell, disguised as his own bastard son.
Jon is now the King in the North - for the time being - and the Reed family are sworn to serve House Stark, so we should see Meera and Howland again in the war against the dead.
Bran’s visionary abilities are still not fully understood by his family. Howland will know the true tale of what happened - the only living man who does - and will be able to support Bran’s claims if there is any scepticism from Jon, Daenerys or the others.
