6. Arya & Gendry
Season seven finally answered the question of what had happened to Gendry. Not much, as it turned out. But he’s alive and Davos has quickly aligned him with Jon.
It was his first appearance since he was freed from Dragonstone by Davos in the series three finale. We last saw him and Arya together in episode six of the same season. Arya probably believes him dead so it will be a pleasant surprise for her to see Gendry ride into Winterfell, although she has more pressing catching up to do elsewhere.
The bastard son of Robert Baratheon is the only one of Arya’s male companions that has opened those lady-like feelings she tries so desperately to hide. Could romance blossom?
Arya is layered enough as a character that she does not need a love interest, but if she is going to fall for anybody in the final season then Gendry would be a popular choice.
