Tyrion confirmed to Jon in episode three of season seven - The Queen’s Justice - that their marriage was unconsummated, and hinted at admiration for Sansa’s intelligence. With Sansa growing into her position of power, the wise Tyrion might take on the role of her political mentor, without any of the ickiness that came with Littlefinger’s counsel.
