10 Great Horror TV Shows You Can Binge-Watch In One Sitting

6. The Mist

Based on the movie based on the book by Stephen King, The Mist became an instant horror fan-favourite when it debuted on Spike TV in 2017. The supermarket setting and threat of monsters looming in a terrifying mist made it perfect for a smaller screen format, and the showrunners made sure to keep the twists coming.

The Mist surely wasn't a long-running horror TV show, but instead, it was turned into a single binge-worthy season of ten episodes.

To catch you up, the show was about a mist (as you might've guessed) that became so dense that the residents of Bridgeville, Maine couldn't see well enough to escape it. Worse still, there were all kinds of creatures and anomalies that hid in the storm. Some people even saw variations of themselves throughout time. There was a chance that some of them could've survived the storm, so long as they reacted well to the adversities that come along the way.

Even if you weren't a huge fan of the 2007 film, Spike TV's version of The Mist is a must-see for anyone who loves King's brand of horror. And, of course, it wouldn't take long for you (and perhaps) some friends to knock out the entire anthology with a minimum number of snack and potty breaks.
