7. Star Wars: The Clone Wars
If you remember the original Star Wars: The Clone Wars movie, then you remember that it just flat out sucked. No two ways of thinking about it. So when it was announced that a TV show was soon to follow, the fandom took it about as well as they take anything.
The actual airing of Clone Wars isn't the BIGGEST case of naysayers choking on their own feet on this list, but it is a notable one.
Star Wars: The Clone Wars isn't just better than the movie it's based on, it's easily one of the best pieces of Star Wars media ever made. Though it didn't start off amazingly - bear in mind that this was the first dedicated television show in the Star Wars canon since the original Clone Wars by Gennedy Tartakovsky in 2003. But the show very quickly picked up its slack and became something truly special.
Star Wars fans may have decried it when it first came out, but you'll hear none of that nonsense these days. And thank goodness for that.
