Anyone who watches reruns of classic Saturday Night Live would totally be forgiven for assuming that Steve Martin was a regular cast member. After all, he's hosted the show fifteen times and was in pretty much every single one of the most famous sketches from the early years. The Wild and Crazy Czech brothers with Dan Aykroyd, for example. Where would that be without a little Steve Martin? Nowhere, that's where. Dan Aykroyd is hilarious, but you need Steve Martin's equally zany sense of humor to make the bit work. What's always been really cool about Martin is that over the years, he's been able to stay relevant while remaining true to his own unique comedic voice. He could be on Saturday Night Live this weekend and his performance would probably be just as funny as one of the ones that he turned in twenty years ago. He hasn't hosted the show since all the way back in 2009, so we think it's high time that he make another appearance. Let's get a Kickstarter going to bring back the Festrunk brothers once and for all. That's, like, a necessity.
