9. Old Amy Being Erased (The Girl Who Waited, 2011)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M7tsEpOi1y0 The Amy/Rory love story has been somewhat of a mixed bag for the series of late. Most people really love the characters, but the show often seems to forget that it should be about the Doctor and his travels, not the domestic problems of two humans; something which gets far more screen time than it should. But in The Girl Who Waited we got to see a different kind of Amy. One who was older, and bitter, and emotionally warped. She was, however, still Amy, and when she was removed from existence by the Doctor and Rory rescuing current Amy, well, there wasnt a dry eye in the house, Im sure. Truly a moving moment.
