6. Sarah Jane Smiths Goodbyes (The Hand of Fear, 1974 and The Man Who Never Was, 2011)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UX5P8UyxA-I Goodbyes plural, yes. Well, first she left the Fourth Doctor, and that was sweet and sad and wonderful, especially since he accidentally left her in the wrong place. But then she returned and got her own spinoff series. Then, sadly, Elisabeth Sladen died way too young and that was that for the character. She got a loving tribute at the end of the final episode of The Sarah Jane Adventures. Now I know that strictly speaking, thats not something that happened in Doctor Who. Well, its my list, and that final tribute was so heartbreaking I cant even begin to get over it. So there you are.
