8. Crocodile - Just Doing My Job
Crocodile focuses on the murderous Mia desperately trying to cover her tracks after murdering her ex-boyfriend.
On the opposite side of the story is Shazia, an insurance investigator who's looking into a claim involving an automated pizza delivery truck. Shazia uses a Recaller to scan the memories of people and methodically works through witnesses to find who could have seen the accident. Unfortunately, her trail leads her to Mia, who witnesses the crash after killing her ex.
Shazia visits Mia, who is unable to hide her memories of the crime. Shazia is tied up, and Mia uses the Recaller on her to discover she told her husband, Anan, about visiting Mia.
Shazia was probably one of the most likeable characters ever to grace Black Mirror's dark universe, making it all the more tragic that merely doing her job leads to her and her family's deaths. What's worse is Mia kills the couple's toddler too after he witnesses her entering the house, not realising the boy was born blind and couldn't have recalled the sight of her.
