10 Horror TV Shows That Would Make Incredible Movies
8. Millennium
Millennium was the next project from Chris Carter after he created The X-Files, and it is clear to see the similarities in style. The world of Millennium has this unique approach to its story in how it uses a big illusive collection - The Millennium Group - to make it feel far removed from government organisations.
Its focus on serial killers and horrifying crime made it feel ahead of its time. Even though shows like Twin Peaks addressed similar themes, there was an overwhelming quantity to the dark subjects that this series dealt with.
It tells the tale of Frank Black, a former FBI profiler with the ability to look inside the mind of a killer. He soon begins to work with the Millennium Group to investigate serial murderers, the occult, conspiracies and many more things. It feels a little more grounded in reality to other shows from Carter, whilst still having enough fantastical elements to be exciting.
Taking the narrative and fixing it into a feature-length runtime would allow for the concept to revel in the grand., addressing big conspiracies and possibly bringing in some notable serial killer names to fill the film with dread and purpose.
