10 Huge Actors You Forgot Were In Scrubs

2. Ryan Reynolds

Colin Farrell Scrubs
NBC

Following the final season of his own sitcom, Two Guys and a Girl, future mega-star Ryan Reynolds turned in Scrubs' season two finale as Spence, an old college friend of J.D and Turk who comes into town to pay them a visit. Relaxed and popular, Spence accidentally reveals that Dr Cox is the father of Jordan's baby, and makes his old friends realise they're stressed and angry with their jobs.

Spence was only around for one episode, and had Ryan Reynolds not become as prolific as he did, he may have been a long-forgotten character by now. Luckily, Reynolds took Hollywood by storm over the next few years thanks to Buried (2010), Safe House (2012), Deadpool (2016) and its sequel, and The Hitman's Bodyguard (2017).

Reynolds gives a solid performance in "My Dream Job", and looking back it's nice to see where he started out.
