10 Iconic TV Show Opening Credits You Will NEVER Skip

7. Happy Days

No other television theme song comes more synonymous with happiness than, well… the Happy Days song. As soon as you hear “Sunday, Monday, Happy Days…”, it’s enough to put a smile on your face and sing along to it. Its lyrics are undeniably catchy and the melody overflows with classic 1950s pop-rock.

The Happy Days series is pure feel good fun. The entire ensemble, from Henry Winkler to Ron Howard, had terrific charm which oozed on screen to create the nostalgia of the 1950s. The show boasted a lot of humour, heart and good music.

In the later years, the series may have eventually jumped the shark (quite literally) but it’s still a memorable family comedy for all the joy it provided viewers when it first aired.

And with a fantastic opening song to match the upbeat tone of the show, it’s no wonder you can’t bring yourself to press the skip button on such a joyous tune.
