3. Ricky Gervais - Everything He's Ever Done

Come on. Out of all the actors on this list, Ricky Gervais is the one who has a bit of what the German call a "Backpfeifengesicht", or a face in need of a fist. Is there a more perfect expression for Mr Gervais than that? We could have gotten a bit more specific and said David Brent from The Office or Andy Millman from Extras, but let's face it, it's all the same thing. Even when he's on television as an awards show host, he can't avoid that effect on audiences. He just has one of those voices and faces that you can alternately find hilarious or incredibly irritating, and often during the same half-hour program. It doesn't help that he has an unbelievably polarising sense of humour. There aren't really a whole lot of people who don't have a strong opinion about Ricky Gervais one way or the other. You either love him, hate him, love to hate him, or simply have a relationship where you experience both emotions simultaneously.
