1. Principal McVey - Chucky
The recent Chucky series certainly delivered its fair share of memorably WTF death scenes, though surely none more so than the deranged demise of Perry Middle School's Principal McVey (Jana Peck) in the first season's fifth episode.
A town meeting is held at the school in an attempt to deal with the increasing death and destruction, prompting Chucky (Brad Dourif) to subject the assembled townsfolk to the brutal decapitation - is there any other way? - of the school's esteemed principal.
When Principal McVey is called to the stage, her severed head rolls out from behind the curtain, before Chucky pulls the curtain back to reveal her headless corpse sat in a chair with its thumbs posed upwards.
Beyond the blackly comedic hilarity of watching a room full of parents and kids get bamboozled with a decapitation outta nowhere, the entire scene is also appropriately scored to the Yeah Yeah Yeahs' "Heads Will Roll."
