6. The Outsiders

The Outsiders are actually making some sizeable waves over on DC's streaming service with the return of Young Justice, but seeing as how they're not the original incarnation of the team - as well as the fact we're yet to see them branch out of animation - it's fair to say that there's still plenty of untapped potential in the premise.

For those who love the at times fractious relationship Batman has with the Justice League, the Outsiders should be right up their alley. The group were originally founded by the Dark Knight after his relations with the League become even more strained, with Bats recruiting from outside the mainstream to command a team that fit his own style.

As for the team's members, literally dozens of characters have been included at one point or another, and most are actually not all that well known. Having Batman as the leader would also act as the perfect gateway to include characters Warner Bros. may see as 'risky', opening the door to the likes of Metamorpho, Doctor Light, the Creeper and others.

The Outsiders aren't all about obscure names either. The likes of Green Arrow, Black Lightning, Huntress and Nightwing have all been heavily involved in the team before, so there are multiple options to pursue on the big screen too.
