10 Marvel Heroes Who Should Get A Disney+ Series

3. Gambit And Rogue

Fox's Gambit movie starring Channing Tatum never materialized. It got stuck in development hell, then fell off the radar by the time Disney bought the rights. Rogue had a bit more success played by Anna Paquin in the ongoing series of X-Men movies. But her powers were limited.

In the comics, she used her mutant power draining abilities to steal some of Carol Danvers' abilities. But because Danvers wasn't a mutant, Rogue permanently kept the powers she stole. This gave Rogue the abilities of flight, strength and invulnerability, which defined her more in the comics than her power draining.

The true crime of Gambit never becoming a full presence in Fox's X-Men franchise is that his epic relationship with Rogue never got a chance to play out on the big screen. A Disney+ series would give them the chance to introduce two important mutants to the MCU while showing off a big part of the X-Men comics world.

Another golden opportunity would be a meeting with Carol Danvers that might finally bring Rogue to full power.
