10 Marvel Heroes Who Should Get A Disney+ Series

2. Wolverine

The core of Fox's X-Men film franchise was Wolverine. Hugh Jackman played the popular mutant in various X-Men films from 2000 to 2018, earning him a Guinness World Record for the longest career as a Marvel live-action hero. But when Wolverine inevitably makes his way into the MCU, Jackman is not currently expected to continue playing the role.

That means fans are in for a whole new era of Weapon X's most memorable graduate.

Rather than just adding him into the movies, introducing Wolverine through Disney+ series makes a lot of sense. It would allow Marvel the time to give the character a proper origin story leading into the movies. It's not that they need to delve too deep into his past, though they should, but how he fits into the MCU will need some setup. It's probably more than a single movie will allow for.

Wolverine is a key player in Marvel Comics so he will inevitably be one in the MCU. Once he's there, face offs with Black Panther, Black Widow and Winter Soldier are inevitable.
