10 Marvel Superheroes Who Should Join The Defenders

4. She-Hulk

First introduced in Savage She-Hulk #1 back in 1980, Jennifer Walters was the cousin of Bruce Banner and a fairly insecure lawyer, that is until she was transformed into the She-Hulk by her cousin in order to save her life after a violent attack. Transforming into her monstrous alternate form, Jennifer was able to apprehend her attackers and continue her life and career with a newfound, superhuman confidence. She later joined The Avengers and The Fantastic Four, as well as other groups like Heroes for Hire and Mighty Avengers. How To Introduce The Character Like Daredevil, Jennifer Walters is also a prosecutor, one that could be introduced opposite Hogarth from Jessica Jones in a courtroom environment. Initially portrayed as expressively timid and uncertain, Jennifer would later transform into the She-Hulk and take Jeri Hogarth to task, winning in court and making headlines in the process. She would be the first publicly recognised superhero in the group, with no secret identity and no desire to conceal who she is. Perhaps after Hogarth goes full evil (which is no doubt going to happen at some point), the gang would come to rely on Jennifer instead.
