10 Incredible Ways The Simpsons & Family Guy Could Cross Over

4. Quahog Is A Kang And Kodos Experiment

Having annually observed Earth on Halloween gone-by for many a year, Kang and Kodos create their own Earth community, based upon the characters and incidents that they have witnessed in Springfield over the years. The result is Quahog, a town entirely housed on Kodos and Kang's ship. Like the designers of the 21st Century exhibit, they have gotten some of the finer details way off, resulting in a dog that talks and a psychotic baby. Nevertheless the plan behind the community is to make their abductees feel more at home. This is not out of any feelings of benevolence towards their human captives, rather an elaborate means to keep their subjects content and docile, so they don't complain as much when they are having intrusive probe experiments performed on them. Homer is abducted one night whilst dumpster-fishing for stale donuts round the back of Lard Lad Donuts. He is obviously distressed at his abduction and subsequent probing, but just as Kang and Kodos hoped, is put at ease by the small town that exists on the ship. Forming an immediate alliance with fellow beer fan Peter, Homer begins to see that Quahog is where he is meant to be, no longer a burden to his family and able to drink Pawtucket Patriot with someone who finally understands him. After a particularly raucous night at the Drunken Clam Homer and Peter decide go and hang out with their Alien overlords. Within 15 seconds of having to endure the company of the drunken duo, Kang and Kodos decide to abandon all of their experiments and dump the entire town of Quahog, followed by Homer and Peter back on Earth.
