10 Modern British Comedies You Must Binge Watch
4. Fleabag
Relatively new to the scene but an instant hit with viewers everywhere, Fleabag has birthed an online following who are already demanding more. Whilst writer and star Phoebe Waller-Bridge has said there is unlikely to be a third season, the two seasons we already have are jam packed with awkward encounters and innuendos a-plenty.
With her fourth wall breaking side comments and her disastrous love life, which reaches new hilarious heights in season two with the introduction of Andrew Scott's priest, Fleabag leaves you in stitches. The show isn't afraid to tap into darker story lines to give a heart and depth to the characters.
If you enjoy your comedy to have a bit of edge then this should be right up your street. Your only complaint will be there isn't enough of it.
