Arguably not British but the show is too brilliant to miss out on. Set in Derry, Northern Ireland in the 90s this coming of age delight is already prepping for its third season despite only having its initial release in 2018.
Giving audiences a glimpse into the lives of teenagers living through the end of the Northern Ireland conflict. Our five protagonists go to a Catholic all girls school - despite one being male. The show documents the ups and downs of teenage life from the reading of your cousin's diary to accidentally witnessing a miracle.
Boys, teachers, parents, and English-Irish tensions give way to some incredibly well written comedy. The cast are hilarious and the show has clearly already captured the hearts of many. It's new but familiar and its so worth a watch.
