From The Muppets to Edgar Allen Poe - this list has everything.

Poe is widely regarded to be one of the greatest horror mystery writers of all time. He penned The Tell-Tale Heart, The Raven, and a short story called Hop-Frog which isn't nearly as delightful as it sounds.

He also wrote The Fall of the House of Usher, sadly not a biography about the decline of a certain R'n'B singer.

It's about a once-prominent family who fall into ruin and their friend who arrives after receiving a letter about a mysterious illness. It's very spooky, very creepy, and oh so wonderfully nutty.

The task with bringing this story to the screen was granted to Mike Flanagan, who is more than up to it. He's the director of such horror movies as Hush, Ouija, and Doctor Sleep, as well as the showrunner for Netflix's The Haunting of Hill House.

Netflix is the intended destination for this miniseries, which wrapped up filming over the summer of 2022. With such a talented hand at the wheel and a strong source material, The Fall of the House of Usher is guaranteed to make you shout "Yeah!"
