10 Most Disappointing TV Shows Of 2017

7. Inhumans

Another big new network superhero show, this time from the side of the comics divide, Inhumans was a property a long time coming to the screen. The Inhumans was initially planned as a movie release to be part of Marvel's Phase 4, then pushed back a year, then they were introduced on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., then the movie was removed from the schedule but not fully cancelled, and then it was announced as a TV show instead.

It was not worth the wait.

It's easy to see why Marvel wanted to get the Inhumans on screen, in lieu of having the rights to the X-Men, but the saga of the Royal Family just became an eight-episode soap opera. It never fully utilised its unique characters or settings, with the former thin and the latter dull, and not even a giant CGI dog could save it.
