7. Glenn Rhee - The Walking Dead
Oh Glenn, you made it so far.
After winning over the hearts of The Walking Dead fans the world over through 6 seasons, and surviving one very near death experience, this fan favourite was ripped away with such vigour it made many give up on the show entirely.
After surviving several seemingly unsurvivable moments throughout the seasons building up to the group's capture by the Saviours at the beginning of Season 7 many believed Glenn was now untouchable.
Wrong.
Poor, sweet Glenn has his head caved in by the barbed wire coated Lucille wielded by Negan. And let's be frank, here - his protruding eye-ball staring back at all his inconsolable fans seemed a touch too far even by TWD standards.
