8. Anatoly Ranskahov - Daredevil
Exploding heads. Cannot move for them on TV, seriously. We did warn you.
To be fair on this one, you don't actually see the viscera so it is perhaps the most PG of all the entries (if there is such a thing as PG heads exploding) but it is no less vicious for this. A secondary villain throughout season 1 of Daredevil, Anatoly meets his end at the hands of a classic Kingpin temper tantrum and a particularly sturdy car door.
During a meet-up with Vincent D'Onofrio's Wilson Fisk after 'embarrassing' him on his date. In an entirely reasonable response, Anatoly is beaten half to death before having his head caved in by a repeated rapping with a car door, which thoroughly finishes the job.
It does not carry the same visceral imaging of the other deaths on this list but the popping noise at the end certainly gives it a deserved place on this list.
