10 Most Emotional Brooklyn Nine-Nine Moments
2. Rosa's Game Night - Game Night
When Rosa came out as bisexual, it was a big moment for the show. Fans were happy that the Nine-Nine would be exploring even more LGBTQ+ themes. But, the joy soon turned to sadness as Rosa came out to her parents, and they did not react well.
This episode was so tragic, as it was rare to see Rosa be so open, and watching as she got hurt by her parents made you sense why she might be so reserved and guarded in the first place. However, it was the ending that really took it home.
"Game Night" culminated with the titular event, as Jake gathered the Nine-Nine together and went to Rosa's to let her know that they supported her and that they were her family too. The amount of comfort this brought to Rosa was delightful, and it was a true sign of how close the Nine-Nine were.
Then, it got even better, as Holt delivered some of the wisest words in the whole show. "Every time someone steps up and says who they are, the world becomes a better, more interesting place." It was a perfect Brooklyn Nine-Nine moment.
