10 Most Forgettable Episodes Of Doctor Who

10. Last Christmas

First broadcast: Thursday 25th December 2014 A nice enough story and arguably one of the best Christmas Specials in years (and definitely the best since A Christmas Carol), but once it's been established that everything's been happening within the confines a dream world, you can't help but wonder what all the fuss is supposed to be about. Yes, all the characters are effectively dying in their sleep as their brains are sucked out through straws by the demonic Dream Crabs (*drama!*), but the only people actually worth caring about are the Twelfth Doctor and Clara and it's fairly obvious that the show's two leading stars aren't about to be killed off in front of the entire nation on Christmas Day. That would be particularly cruel, even by Steven Moffat's standards. So this one is forgettable in the sense that the whole thing, like... didn't happen. Do the Doctor and Clara even remember any of it? They were far too busy skipping merrily back aboard the TARDIS for adventures anew, so probably not. Also, it was all very dark, wasn't it? Literally and metaphorically speaking.
