Cordelia’s gang of girls are a constant source of annoyance in the first three seasons. They carry an aura of superiority and look down on pretty much everyone, including the Scooby Gang.

Harmony is no exception. She struts around Sunnydale High with the rest of her girl friends with no consideration of those around her. But unlike Cordelia, she doesn’t go through much of an evolution. She’s a brat at the start of Season 1, and she’s still a brat at the end of Season 3.

In ‘Graduation Day Part 2’, she’s sired (turned into a vampire) during the conflict with Mayor Wilkins. Though her storyline becomes more interesting from this point onwards, she’s still annoyingly self-centred. Her whiny attitude drives Spike crazy and the two of them are constantly at loggerheads despite their mutual feelings of physical attraction.

Consequently, when Harmony left Sunnydale and went down to Los Angeles, no one was particularly upset about her decision.
