8. Bonnie Swanson
Bonnie Swanson is a character that had a relatively small role when she first came to Quahog. The main purpose of the Swanson family moving in next door was to give Peter another drinking buddy in Joe, and Bonnie was essentially just there to make up the household.
Jokes have been made about her having an annoying voice, which even at one point made James Woods punch her in the throat, but there is more about her than just Jennifer Tilly’s unmistakably high pitched voice.
Bonnie had been a supportive wife to Joe for many years, but there came a point when everything got a bit too much for her, and she started to resent him. She has had several affairs and attempted affairs in the past, but even that isn't what fans of the show have found worst about her.
She essentially entered an arrangement with her husband that she could have these affairs to satisfy her needs in bed, since Joe himself wasn’t able to perform, even calling in Peter when it was thought that Lois was dead. It all felt a little bit odd, and fans didn’t exactly respond greatly to the shift in character.
