10 Most Hated Parks And Recreation Episodes

8. Media Blitz (Season 3, Episode 5)

Parks And Recreation
NBC

While Leslie and her relationships are excellent, plenty of other characters and romances stand out in the show. The late addition of Craig was particularly terrific. He brought new energy to the programme and helped carry on the humor till the end. Ann and Chris’s relationship was charming with its unorthodox approach to romantic relationships and parenthood. However, not all characters in the show are great, and not every great relationship is not without its lows.

Unfortunately, The Douche is the lowest of lows. His juvenile personality and lame jokes make for a rude and unfunny character. While the townspeople of Pawnee seem naïve rather than ignorant, the same cannot be said for The Douche. Howard Tuttleman knows exactly what he's doing, and there is simply nothing redeemable about it.

Not only do we have to suffer through the Douche in this episode, we then have to watch April emotionally torture Andy. Their relationship, which is usually a major highlight in the show, is tested as we see insecurity and doubt get the best of April.

While Andy makes mistakes, it's always chalked up to his childishness, whereas April's behavior is a bit cruel. It is hard to watch as she takes advantage and leads Andy on. Especially when Andy is doing everything he can to prove he cares for April. Even though this was when Parks and Rec was in full swing, this episode missed the mark.
