10 Most Horrifying Serial Killers On TV

3. Paul Spector (The Fall)

Sure, Paul Spector has that chiseled jaw and ruggedly handsome thing going for him but, as the old adage says; you really should never judge a book by it's cover. Maybe crack that binding and take a peek inside, because Spector has some seriously dark nighttime habits that may make his charming exterior actually seem pretty terrifying. With a brutally cold and clinical demeanor, Spector chooses his victims (who happen to be attractive ladies) and sneaks into their bedrooms at night. After successfully gaining access, he comes back to strangle, tenderly wash and pose his victims in sexually evocative poses. As if this wasn't mildly horrifying enough for you, Spector happens to be a seemingly normal family man. He has a wife, a child and makes his living as a, wait for it... bereavement counselor. Isn't that considered a conflict of interest? Jamie Dornan may be known as Christian Grey now, forever and always, but he really shines as Spector. Sure, he still has the looks to seduce anyone he pleases but they are toned down and approachable in this role. He passes for a family man but is also completely convincing as a sexually sadistic serial killer. These two polar ends of the spectrum are not an easy thing to mash into one man. Dornan does just that which gives the viewer a brand new topic to discuss with their own therapist.
