8. "Pivot!"
In season five, Ross took Rachel to help him pick out a new couch, but he wasn't prepared to pay the delivery charge. He only lived three blocks away, yet they tried to charge him almost as much as the couch itself. Instead, he decided to take it back home himself.
They got it back to his building with no problem, but the tight, spiral staircase caused them problems. They hilariously brought in Chandler as their muscle to help, and things just didn't get better, even with the help of Ross' sketch.
Ultimately, the scene boiled down to Ross screaming "PIVOT!" at his two helpers over and over and over. It's not like they could have done anything else, or that the shouting actually helped at all, but it made for great TV.
However, this scene is actually outshone by the blooper, which is genuinely even funnier than what made it into the show. Every Friends fan has seen it, as David Schwimmer and Matthew Perry can't control their laughter, and it only goes to make the entire scene more memorable all these years later.
