10. "Do Your Toes Curl Up?"
Star Trek has always been big on sex appeal, but never actually sex itself. Annoying, really, as the "boldly going" jokes absolutely write themselves, but regardless the writers always tend to steer the principal cast away from doing the actual do. You can kiss as many hot alien babes as you like, but those uniforms regulate the blood flow very precisely.
It's not because nobody has sex in space, I mean, they do it loads in Futurama, weirdly, but it's just that Star Trek's usual pre-watershed time slots mean that the censors are watching closely for anything even resembling titillation. The show got its wrists slapped - lol, ironically - for The Naked Now and immediately shelved any attempts at being racy.
We didn't really see too much smut from then on, but Season 3's Episode 'The Price' saw Deanna Troi speaking frankly about the thorough seeing to she was getting from Devinoni Ral. That's not so bad in isolation, but the production decision to have the conversation take place between Troi and Crusher... in skintight leotards... as they repeatedly bend over... in front of a mirror... was very horny.
Crusher: You're unusually limber this morning. Troi: I'll say. Devinoni Ral. It's ridiculous, and wonderful. I feel completely out of control. Happy. Terrified. But there's nothing rational about this. Crusher: Who needs rational when your toes curl up?
