2. Goku
The main character of Dragon Ball and one of the most loved anime and manga characters of all-time.
The young Saiyan is first seen as an energetic young kid so innocent to the point of naivety. Ever since than the character has become Earth's protector and always finds ways to further improve himself and break through limits nobody else thought possible.
Goku is seen as the idealistic 'good guy', always showing mercy to his foes after defeating them, whether it be Piccolo Jr, Vegeta, or even Frieza after the villian threatened to kill everyone Goku loved.
It is virtually impossible to not love this kind-hearted, martial-arts loving Saiyan with his goofy smile and innocent nature.
