8. The Guy Who Wanted To Watch His Ex Get Shagged

Along with including more of their movie influences, it appears as if at least one Sense8 storyline might be informed by The Wachowskis and J Michael Straczynski's own experiences with film production. Spanish actor Lito's experiences on a Mexican film set are mostly secondary to his hiding his relationship with a man, thanks to help from his female co-star.

Daniela acts as Lito's "beard", so the press don't find out the handsome leading man ladies love is actually humping boyfriend Hernando. Not a traditional set-up (Daniela likes watching them getting jiggy), but one that works out pretty well for them. At least, until Daniela's ex-boyfriend turns up in the trio's shared apartment and issues an ultimatum to the woman who jilted him.

It looks like he's after blackmail money, but nope. Turns out he's bought into Lito and Daniela's relationship as the real deal, and wants to see how his ex's new beau makes love to her. Creepy. It's unclear whether he's going to get off on it, or pick up some pointers, or whatever. Doesn't really matter. It's weird, bizarre, and doesn't really have any bearing on the rest of the series.
