10 Most Memorable Doctor Who Pre-Title Sequences

1. Listen

Although Listen is one of the most divisive episodes of NuWho, you cannot argue that Moffat absolutely nails the entrance. It's atmospheric, creepy and incredibly intriguing, as Peter Capaldi monologues about a creature that has evolved to hide from our sight. It asks a simple, yet terrifying question. Are you ever really alone? Or when you talk to yourself, are you actually speaking to some sort of creature that you can never see? It concludes with the creature presumably scrawling €œlisten€ on the chalkboard for the Doctor to see. Although this mystery is mostly debunked by the end of the episode, Listen still has the best and most involving start to any Doctor Who episode. What did you think of this list? Do you agree that these are the most memorable Doctor Who pre-credits sequences, or are there any others that should've been included? Join the conversation in the comments section below!
